How we are going to collaborate is of course completely depending on who you are and what kind of process you are envisioning. Generally I see my competences best explained in these our qualities of design consulting:

• Creative design work; where I work directly with the design challenge for the client. Analyses of the situation both written and in visual design work. Experience modeling in paper, animation, video prototypes, physical prototypes, scenarios and product concepts. User studies and user centered (even user participation) design processes are integral parts of this form of design work

• Critical design work; where I evaluate your design work e.g. from the perspective of social user experience design and give feedback on how to improve the design in relation to the specific goals and intentions of the business concept

• Facilitating design work; where I guide, advise and lead creative processes with e.g. a user centered focus or in understanding and exploring social situations. Facilitation is basically about inspiring, framing and exploring the complex creative processes together with a team.

• Investigative design work; where I conduct deeper inquiries of potentials in markets or materials for a client. This is a longer process than usual design work and utilizes extended methods from scientific design research. The outcome of this process can be anything from product concepts to strategic proposals - whatever will have that best impact on visionary thinking in the clients organization
